Founded in 2015, the BethO core design principle is to create pieces that aren’t limited by the confines of trends and seasons but timeless, feminine and effortlessly stylish designs rooted in our African culture that will go on to represent a heritage. With a dazzling combination of elevated, classic and exceptional finishing, high quality craftsmanship is what every BethO piece represents.
Our highly acclaimed bespoke label, BethO Couture, which traverses the various subsects of traditional Nigerian party wear and luxury bridal wear, has since inception, been the hallmark of numerous millennial women and brides across the country. Our painstaking attention to detail and understanding the importance of a woman’s wedding day, be it traditional or white wedding, has made us an unarguable favourite of brides across Africa and in the diaspora looking for unique, memorable and intricate pieces for their special days.
In 2020, BethO launched a ready-to-wear line, BethO RTW. BethO RTW collection is made up of high quality handmade pieces that reflect the natural and effortless beauty of Africa. This includes handmade tunics, co-ords and dresses, designed to fit perfectly into any woman’s wardrobe as the BethO RTW pieces are designed to be versatile, wearable and form the perfect foundation for a formidable wardrobe.
Today, the brand which started off as a passion for the inimitable Creative Director and Founder Tosin Olayinka, has grown to be one of Nigeria’s foremost bespoke labels. Understanding the need to support local artisans and seamstresses, we strive towards creating an empowered workforce made up of local talent. Our garments, which are famously embellished with beads, sequins and crystals are all sewn by hand in our workshop, nestled in the heart of Lagos, Nigeria.
